Farm girl was able to go on a wonderful quilting vacation with some good friends. We attended the 9th Anniversary party of the Missouri Star Quilt Company in Hamilton, Missouri. Like many of you, I like to watch the You Tube videos that  Jenny hosts. We were lucky enough to meet Jenny Doan. We just received a few new blender fabrics in from Maywood Studio Beautiful Basics Collection. These fabrics are 44/45" wide.   We also received more of our favorite ruler for making half square triangle. The 6 1/2 Triangle Square Up Ruler makes perfect half triangle squares and quarter triangle squares in sizes up to 6 1/2 inch. Fully illustrated and detailed instructions are included. Farm Girl Quilts just received the some backings and Fat Quarter Bundles in the new Bee Basics collection by Lori Holt of Riley Blake Designs. I thought I would show you a few things that I have worked on this past week. This lovely "Welcome" quilt will brighten any room it gets placed in. The recipient of this flannel quilt will really enjoy wrapping up in it on those cold winter evenings we get here in Canada. I'm just loading a beautiful quilt made by a true artist. It's sure not your typical Lonestar quilt. I can hardly wait to start quilting it with feathers and metallic thread.
